20 burning questions

Responses:

1. No, they are different in doctrine and practice; yet all believe in salvation through Jesus Christ.

2. No, see above

3. They don't. People find church homes that fit their spiritual growth and where they're called by the man of God..if they're living by BIBLICAL standards. Sheep follow their shepherd, goats follow a crowd.

4. It IS just YOU; you cannot on what another individual can feel in the spirit because God doesn't touch people in the same way. Different environments are more conducive to what God has set for individual people. You may FEEL more of the anointing because in a "pentacostal' church because there may be where your calling lies in this season.

5. Doctrine, teaching and experience

6. See 4; but that doesn't necessarily make your analysis untrue.

7. Man looks on the outward appearance; but God judges the heart.

8. Incomplete teaching. What IS the anointing according to scripture? And, where is it's definition referenced?

9.  God never said, prosperity is directly linked to money. There are scriptures that discuss, IN DETAIL, prospering of soul, spirit, interaction with people, etc.

10. Because church culture has mistaught many of us to seek a FORM of Godliness but deny the power thereof.

11. See 10; but at the same time, some credence must be given to the ever-growing nature of God. He goes from glory to glory; so the words of yesteryear may not be appropriate for this generation and time. Let's not focus on what God has said, but what He is yet saying to the body of Christ.

12. Everyone isn't receptive to the word of God. That's why the bible says let those that have an ear to hear.

13. I don't understand your question. While many compromises are being made in the body of Christ; and secularism is being passively addressed in some branches, I believe with all my heart that this is the work of the enemy and people NOT the church.

14. While I understand your heart, because some things would seem to be defiling in the sanctuary, I would not attribute that to a lack of deliverance. A person's appearance, while distasteful to some, may be the manifestation of deliverance for someone's self-esteem. If we are really focused on what God's doing, there really isn't time to take note of our fellow congregant's attire or wardrobe.

15. I believe we all misrepresent God because we're of a sinful nature and He is not. Don't discredit salvation because of a person's present progression in process.

16. I think the desire to be mighty in God is not one of error, but rather, we have not yet all come to the revelation that the mightest work that we can do lies in the realm of what we've been CALLED to do. So, not enough reverance has been given to a single mother who raises a household to be five Godly men to require the same level of anointing as some of the "great" positions that are so sought after in the church.

17. We don't really recognize and understand the power, influence and greatness that lies inside of us.

18. I think either extreme is detrimental. To be in such fellowship with the world that they can't see a difference from us to them; or to be so different that they can't relate to us is ineffective. There must be a balance.

19. There's a natural attraction to the anointing of God. Some term it as a drawing, a knowing, or a calling to a man or woman of God. The real danger is that the enemy attempts to pervert all God-designed relationships that they might not produce what God is trying to get out of them.

20. The Bible says that man can't serve two masters. And, it goes on to pit God against money for controlling interest of the heart. Therefore, if left unbalanced and unchecked, even good bookkeeping, stewardship, and fiscal kingdom building have the ability to draw a person't heart from God.
Despite our communication technology, no invention is as effective as the sound of the human voice.

1. yes it is. remember it is called apostolic because they follow the teachings of the apostles. the official denomination name is pentecostal. it is called holiness or holy rollers as man would call them because of how they live and tell others the way the word says 2 live. u can't do as u please basically once u become a born again believer. they really follow the old time church.

2. don't know, i've never been 2 one b4. but i do know that Full Gospel teaches the apostolic doctrine, they're just under the baptist denomination.

3. again don't know, but i can only assume thats the denomination they were raised in.

4. well truthfully u will feel the anoiting wherever the people are preaching the true word of God. and as some1 stated above, if thats how u feel thats where God is drawing u 2 walk in the "holiness movement" as i heard some1 say b4. lol  :D

5. ignorance, people take the part of God's word thats beneficial 2 them.

6. because every1 doesn't obey God as he commanded. some people get out of God's will and step into self.

7. again, ignorance. as stated above most people just follow the crowd and the name of an individual, who believe it or not they idolize and make their self-personal God. people go where they can hide, get more money 4 holding an office, etc.

8. this will take 2 long 2 explain.  but 4 an example, most of us think just because some1 has a platform they're anoited, which couldn't be further 4rm the truth. Praise & Worship without a lifestyle pleasing 2 God is not anoited.

9. because if u preach people happy, their more likely 2 give.  :D

10. because they want nothing 4rm God except 2 be entertained. u'll also find a lot of them want God 2 bless them, yet they won't bless God.

11. because flesh is a mess. this is a generation of strong wills, who prefer God change and conform 2 their way of thinking and living.

12. same as above. people just wanna do as they please. remember the Bible says there is pleasure in sin. though it only last 4 a season.

13. 2days church is more concerned about filling up the house than getting the mess out the house.

14. when sin, jezebel, delilah, and others came in. lol  8O

15. thats how most of us have been taught, do as u please u're alright. God died 4 u, just say the sinners prayer.

16. every1 wants fame & money plain and simple. lets be real!

17. it'll take all day 2 explain, with must debate. lol

18. see above. all i tell people is show me anywhere in the Bible where God this. and surprisingly they never can because it never happened.

19. jezebel & delilah spirits along with the Title and prestige that  comes with the territory.

20. don't know ask the pastors that compromise Gods word and do this.  8O

:)  I want to answer some of the following questions to the best of my knowledge.

1. Holiness and pentecostal are the same. They under the pentecostal doctrine. Save, sanitfy and feel with the holy Ghost whereas Apostolic has some baptist doctrine.  oh and laying handsPentecostal belive in too.

2. God has a church for everyone. Churches name and doctrine are a plan that god have for you. Some churches preach more of faith, others repentance, etc. etc. Its what God want  to build inside of you. If you with little faith God going to guide you to a church that specialize in faith.
Do you know that Pastor, Bishop and Apostolic has 1000 sermon that they haven't preach yet. Do you know why they haven't preach those sermon yet? That person has not came through those doors yet.

4. If you feel the annoiting in that church you need to go often. God is trying to tell you something

5. I agree its the teaching and doctrine and experience

6. Workship

9. Jesus rose from the dead with all power in his hand. He gave us a weapon for us to get prosperity. That in our tongue. Just think those that are selling drugs to get a quick buck if they knew if they obey god rules all they have to do is say the word and they will have it. All we have to do is say the word and it is giving to us. Now how many people believe that and do it?

10.  I say it this way. Lyric in the song is easy understand some of God word. When they sleeping that goes back to no# 2 If there's a word for  them sleep or not you going to hear it and it will put a tug on you. They just not at the right church to hear what GOd has for them

11.  The Truth hurts.

12. The truth hurts again.  World believe in the sin that was given to moses. Do you know that there's is 367 :D  sins. Some believe since it was not mention in the bible they not doing noting wrong. Some people sins by porn on internet, gambling-casino, movies lust, video. These things were not invented yet and still more is to come. When you tell them that watching video or r rated movie they don't believe there flesh is making them sins.

14. Alot people think church is a fashion show. To me if I came to church wearing just a clothes from a no brand stores, then Lord bless me to go shopping in Name brand stores people would start hating cause I been blessed. Then they go spend their rent, car note, mortgage, food money just to out do me. That is when it becomes a fashion show.

16. They want to be noticed.

17.  If we read the bible it tells us not to be. Church (leaders) preach to us not to conform of this world. Do you know that all wars are about religion.

19.  Good question, why do they? I believe they following their flesh.  I beieve if the Pastor ever talk about what he have or go or do their someone out their want some of it. Have you ever noticed people always want some of your blessing. I do believe those are Pastors test of faith. Those women has some bad spirits in them.

20. Guilt.

I hope I shed some light on some of your question. I was raise in church. Baptist for 25 years until God took me to a Pentecostal church. I really didn't want to go. Then my Pastor at Baptist church preach don't fail the test. I went to the other church and he was preaching the same thing but telling me GOd has a place for you for a reason. Its only but one Holy Ghost. I still wonder what my purpose is in a Pentecostal church. BUt I know I will understand it better bye and bye.  Amen. :D
