Please Help!
« on: November 17, 2003, 12:53:52 PM »
I took piano lessons for about 3 years (age 8-10). After giving it up at age 10, I didn't even deal with music, other than in Junior High & High School (I learned all about percussion!)

My problem is that after all these years, I'm now wanting to get deeper in my knowledge and skill on piano/ keyboard. I know that "my method" is wrong (theory-wise), but it works in most situations. I want however to "re-learn" without having to actually "re-learn" everything!

Is there a way that I can learn  chords (and some theory), without having to spend time & money (which I don't have) in lessons?

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with aljeres, but to advance quickly in you music you need to work on your ear training.  That way whatever you hear, you can duplicate and that is a priceless talent and gift.  Email me and maybe I can help you on it. I would also like to give a shout out to my covenant brother, Min. Vaughn Sanders.
