Does any body know what Reggie Parker is up to?  For those of you that dont know, Reggie Parker is the bass player who played with Hezekiah Walker (Live in New York) and a couple tracks on the Family Affair Albums. He also played a few tracks on the James Hall (King of Glory Album)  I think he is one of those bass players that can seriously "groove" and has a deeeeep pocket.  I once met him when he came to Toronto and played for Hezzy!  He plays a four string Pensa bass, but has it tuned differently.  Does anybody know how he tunes his bass?  I think its GDAC  :?   I know he has a Hip Shot D Tuner which allow him to switch from the E string to Low C ( I think)  I'm looking for feedback, thanks!

I'm not sure how he tunes his bass, but it is quite common for four stringers to use dropped D tuning (D A D G).  The Hip-Shot extender key ca be set up to drop a low E down to low C but if he has his E string tuned up to G, I don't think the Bass X-Tender key will take it down that low.
