TCP,
Good on you! You're gonna love it. I would do one or more of these things:
1. if you have friends who play, get them to show you a few basic things - they'll probably know what
2. get a teacher - a good investment of your money
3. buy a keyboard if you don't have a piano already. Doesn't have to be expensive - just to get yourself started. A cheapo (say $200) Yamaha or Casio will do. You'll know when it's time to upgrade.
4. Make sure you have access to a PC/laptop with internet connection right next to the kbd. There's an incredible wealth of info on the internet
5. be prepared for long hours sitting in front of the kbd, aching wrists and frustration
6. from day one, dedicate your newfound ministry unto God.
7. pray about it.

You'll be amazed at what you can achieve.
