Any new music discoveries?

I found out about a guy named B.Reith through GospelPundit. I downloaded his new release on a whim and haven't stopped playing it since. He's white, but has a sound that's so hot. Kind of like Mali Music.

Yesterday, when watching the Full Gospel convention, they had a guy named Jonathan Mcreynolds doing an acoustic set. I have a tendency to tune out when indy artists take the stage, but his sound caught my attention. Copped his EP last night and it's good stuff.

I've been listening to Gretchen Parlato, too, who was recommended here on LGM.

Any new discoveries?

That's not my ministry.  I just check out what you find, lol.  People at my church think I'm pretty on top of it, though.  I give you credit, Teej, they just have no idea who you are, LOL!

Somebody needs to resurrect that "local artists" thread. There are so many gifts hidden in these cities that we don't know about because they haven't been picked up by the right label or distribution company or whatever.

Yea, I really like some of her songs. I was looking up a song on amazon and found her. If I left it up to Oklahoma, you wouldn't hear her at all.

Props to Under13 for recommending her.  Saw her live a few weeks ago.

Daniel Johnson is, without a doubt, one of my greatest discoveries. His album is one of this year's best. Very distinct sound to it.
