GROOVE PERCUSSION SNARE?

HEY EVERYONE,

MY FRIEND IS LOOKING TO PURCHASE A GROOVE PERCUSSION MAPLE SNARE AS A BEGINNER SNARE. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS A GOOD SNARE FOR A BEGINNER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. IF NOT PLEASE GIVE SOME SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT IS A GOOD BEGINNER'S SNARE TO PURCHASE.

it depends. how much are they asking for the snare? i am assumiong that it is a 5x14". if they are asking more than 40-50 bucks, that is too much. i suggest a pulse piccolo snare from musicinas friend. they cost $30 and they are really good quality....

my boi nolan at samash hooked the groove up just messin around wit an aquarian "hi-energy" head and woww did that thing sound amazing, i walked back expectin to see a mushashi or somethin with the projection but there was the groove. its a NICE snare for ANYONE so i suggest you go for it, its worth the money

oo and also the groove maple snare is a 13"x5", you cant beat that for the money

One word--YES! Groove percussion snares are a good buy and if taken care of will be a good snare for you for a couple of years.
