Hello Everyone,

I am a 27 year old drummer for my church. Im trained to play clarinet and trombone. I started learning the drums when I was 15 and played in church until I went off to college. While in a black college band I played my horn,so all through college I didn't play and drums. When I graduated from graduate school I came back to play for my church (drums). Unfortunately, I really feel that those years of not playing have set me back. When our church visits other churchs or vice versa, Im amazed at the visiting drummer. Some of them are KIDS! How can I get better at gospel drumming, Im not bad but Im not as good as others either. Where do I start? Any sites that can help me with tuning as well. My toms ring when I hit them instead of that deep solid sound. I appreciate any help.
