Here is my go at the intro to Aha and part of Hunter's Point, from the Alterstate cd, on my fretless Warwick Thumb Bass.

I LOVE IT !!
although im not familar with the song, it sounds great..

heres an idea:
although one may be apposed to the idea of a double necked guitar..

i say you take in your monster-8 and have them cut your frets in half for the other 4 strings complete register..

what a custom that would make !!

rob
spirit check, testing 1,2,3...testing, testing. a scripture a day will keep the enemy at bay. :0)

I like dtuned idea.

the sound of a fretless. is sooo beautiful i sit alone in my room often and play my fretless. i'm not really playing anything I got a fretless to enjoy mostly, not to learn. I can already play it, i just wanted that tone when i want it. like when i finally get my 6 string I am not truly interested in learning it as most as my own enjoyment i can worship our God with on 1 actually I can worhsip our God on 12 frets of one string

oh yea b3 you play really well

Thanks guys.

I figured no one commented because they didn't know the songs. I'll post clips of the songs.

I edited the top post, and put links to the original clips of the songs. Check them out.

Now, maybe I'll get more responses.

okay B3.... now i comprehend  :)

that was cool!!! u handled those changes in Hunter's Point well.  Is that an alto or bass clarinet that plays that melody before the bass does??  man I missed playing those instruments.  I think that's when I realized how much I love the bass sound.

last weekend I took the family to Guitar Center....I had a chance to play around with a fretless .... ohhh my my how sweet
