SORRY! SORRY! SORRY!
« on: October 02, 2005, 11:46:02 PM »
I did not mean to come off as a jerk. I was just a bit offended by the first remarks I received. After listening to what everyone had to say, I realized that a competition was a bad idea. There alot of talented musicians on this site. I just called them pretenders because I was offended by their comments, and didn't realized that I was in the wrong.
I should have just asked for everyone to post their own version for to compare, like someone else just advised. I humble myself and ask if for forgiveness from anyone I offended. I'm really not a jerk, I was just trying something out, and I got more than I bargained for. So I say again, SORRY! SORRY! SORRY!
BLESS GOD

It's cool. I wasn't offended because I thought it was a joke. Plus, I don't need to prove myself to some guy online.

Anyway, even if a competition were OK, this setting is not a good set up. Think about it. One person would post a clip. Everybody would then have the opportunity to listen to that clip, take ideas from the clip, improve on the clip for a couple days and come back with bomb. Thus, each person would have a huge advantage over all previous people.

I'd be happy to post some songs or riffs to give you some ideas. I first need to figure out how to record to my computer though. I don't like the idea of comparing or competing though. This forum is just not the right setting.

It's cool you're apologizing.

What comments offended you? There are people on this site from all over the world having different skill levels. It's probably best to stay calm and address each comment individually. You never know who's looking on.

I accept your apology and I also apologize if my comments hurt your feelings.  I just get really ticked off when it comes to music stuff.  All is forgiven.

Thank you all for being so forgiving, and I'll be more careful next time I decide to post a new topic.
