practice routine

I,m a begin oragnist and would like to now what should be practice.
I know Scale and chords in the circle of fifth but, when it come to learnigng  song i just can figure out the chords. althought i can figure out the bass note.

You can practice the ii-V7-I progression going up the cycle of fourths for start.  Then do the same with the IV-V-I prgression.

I mean practice the ii-V7-I for the key of C, then the key of F, then the key of Bb and so on.  It's just so you get accustomed to playing in all keys very well.

P.S. I mean do you just try to copy other musicians or are you trying to start your own trends.
