that sermon from that website was JUST opinionated teaching, and i agree with all that Lifeinreturn said. regarding the old testament... and like i said before, even in the same scripture about tatts it talks about not cutting the hair on the sides of your head or beard... no one is preaching about shaving and flashing pictures about razors or doing teachings on the clean cut culture. i don't like it when people take the word and use it to further THIER opinions and agendas, instead of speaking from the H.Spirit inside of them.  
to me it is just like when people took/ take the scripture when paul said women aren't to preach and held/hold women ministers down. that was a cultural specific people thing. and instead of getting the whole story (EXO-JESUS), and getting the reason and lesson of why things were said, they use isolated scriptures verses and texts (ISO-JESUS) and inproperly use the word.

In my opinion, that's what is wrong with our "today" churches. People are preaching personal convictions instead of the gospel of Jesus Christ. These debates will continue to go on forever, until WE (the church) realize that WE all have different approaches to Salvation. We all have to sincerely seek God for ourselves, and when we do...HE will guide us into all that is true for our lives.

Christ changes the way we view the world around us. Before salvation, all we seen was ourselves...And Now that we have been changed, it's all about him. Our motives are different. Yes, we live in the world, but we are not of the world. And if we let our light shine among men, they will come to glorify the Father,.....not whether we wear earrings or not. Salvation is bigger than earrings/women speaking in church/ and our denominations. Hopefully when we realize that, we will become more united as a body.

AND STEELY YOU ARE RIGHT ON, THE ONLY THING I'LL SAY IS THAT GOD HAS DIFFERENT APPROACHES FOR OUR WALKS WITH HIM, FROM PERSON TO PERSON. OUR APPROACHES MAY BE TAINTED BUT HIS VARIATIONS  (WHICH HE CREATES FROM THE SAME FOUNDATIONS) ARE PERFECT AND FLAWLESS AND UNIQUE JUST AS WE ARE UNIQUE.

Bottomline, I don't want anything in my appearance to resemble a woman cause that's just me.  You can put it anyway you want, but I nor my future sons aint finna have no earrings up in my house.  Man is man, woman is woman, east is east, west is west, and never the twain shall meet.
