this is hot. when i first heard this i thought the beat was nice and if you pay attention you can see hes actullay playing the track on the drum pads while hes playing the drums.....thats gooooood!!!

Dude you need to play catch up ... Start with his VHS - "PULSE" - when he first starts experimenting with electronic drums and triggers the bass player is off the chain, then get the VHS-"Metamorphosis" when he first starts experimenting with electronic drums and triggers the bass player is off the chain, He is playing his signature Maple Custom kit and his brass signature snare... then  "Independence" - which is where he really has gotten comfortable with the electronics... he is playing he Beech Customs and his Signature Beech snare  Also get the new DVDs Wasabi and Fuyiyama where he is playing the Musachi Oak Customs.

Also check out his contemporary jazz cds both solo and with Caseopia. He really serves the music with serious pocket, tastefull chops.

I saw/met him at a clinic about 5 yrs ago at Memphis Drum Shop. No video compares to seeing him in person.
