are you new to bass or just the site, cause if you are new to bass Andre Gouche may not be the easiest guy to learn off of, but the bass line is pretty basic, with a lot of fillers, I would recommend you keep it simple, and I promise the spirit will move just the same, after a while you will get more comfortable with what you can do and start putting a little more of you in them, peace!

Just new to this site, I played bass back in the 70's picking it back up. Been Playing again  for about 2 month. the Lord call me to play again.I'm in my 40's now,  its not easy to start over again.
I play a 4 string bass. Do these guys use 4,5,6 or what string bass? I If I get the first 9 tabs for these song. I can work the rest

I was just wondering what song you were referring to when you said Andrew Gouche was playing the bass.  I know he didn't play on Mississipi mass Emmanuel.  I believe Allen Golden is playing They got the word. ( It's either him or Sam Scott. ) I've never heard of Andrew playing for Charles Hayes.  Just wondering because I try  to get everything that he plays on.
