Eden/Nemesis Amps
« on: December 18, 2005, 07:33:53 PM »
I am looking for an affordable, but reliable, bass amp.  I've heard good things about Eden products and a bass player from a church I used to attend played an Eden WT rig.  Eden also offers lowr priced amps through its Nemesis brand name and I came across this new Silver Series line of combos;

The 2x8 combo has caught my attention and according to the site this bad boy can handle a 5-string (there is a 1x15" version as well).  But I'm also a bit skeptical.  What do you all think.  Has anyone had good results using relatively small speakers with a fiver?

bose uses small speakers, hartke as well. i guess my point is small speaker designed for bass gives you an element that large ones don't and quite frankly I perfer 10s to all other size. The sub woofer on my entertainment system is a 6 incher and it sounds better then some 12inch bass amps.

as for the nemesis never dealt with them but I feel that any product built under a large company meant to be cheaper is still a great product, and something I'd want.
