What songs are you interested in? The group I'm in play Lee Williams, Williams Brothers and some Canton Spirituals. I haven't played any of Lee Williams new songs, but I know the last two CD's quite well.

Whats up bighenry and welcome to LGM! Are you working on the whole Lee Williams CD Good Time or just that song? I play a lot of Lee Willams and Canton Spirituals in my quartet group.

If any of you have some bass notes that you can share other than "GOOD TIME" that would be a blessing to me.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU

This is how I play Can't Run off of the Lee Williams CD. In the key of B major........
B,F#,B,F#,E,C#,B,B,F#,G#F#,B is the main riff
When they say you just can;t get by, I play this scalar walk down starting on the D string.
You- E
Just- D#
Can't- C#
Get- F#
By- B
