the Powells in Raleigh, NC

what up fam, i jus wanted to post up real quick I went Abundant Life in Raleigh this past fri. and all Im going to say is BLAZING,BLAZING,BLAZING,  Doobie Powell did a lil mini concert along with like 59,000 other groups,lol but yo I know i might be late but his band was crushing, Billy did his thing he's a power drummer,but still wit some nice licks, Jazz and the other 2 keys and organist was like whoa, I forgot the bass players name, the one with dreads, man o man, and now the best for last , the kid playn the drums, he did majority of the songz, I think his name is Laron or something like that but yo the kid ain't nothing but 17 and is very scarry, i'll say he did put on a show,  overall 2 thumbs up, oh yeah "Stenny" Powell was crushing with his uncle Ivan, but thats enuff for now, they made me come bak to VA and practice some more, aight stay up fam, until next time

Oh yeah my boy has a video with with larone shedding here with some bflo drummers. He is sweet he has played with aaron spears also so some of his licks are very aaron "spearish" and doobie influence. Billy is sweet too and yes he can lay it down strong and powerful. My man bunt plays keys with doobie also he is nasty. Yeah that whole band is disgusted. they been in bflo a few times.

a yo dude they really blazed the the place, I ain't even gone lie it was 2 groups to perform after them and u could sense tha the muscians was like, yo i ain't going on up there afta what i jus saw...lol, but yeah man overall they were hoottttt, and yeah you could hear alot of influences in Larone's playing, oh yeah and Billy did this slow song, it had a looonngg build in it, he straight crushed that joint with ghost notes all over the place, thaats enuff
