Congratulations Trackman,
That's wonderful to hear...I only been playing for a few years, and I remember my first time playing without any help, no, not even a drummer...Only I was playing an instrument, and the congregation was clapping off beat, no rhythm at ‘all to help me. During that time, I was only a few months in the game, but thanks to God, most Christians are forgiven people and I made it out alive (I did play decent).
Today, I mostly play with a drummer only. Thanks to LGM posts and instructional books, CD's, and DVD's. I can handle almost any congregational song and most contemporary songs. However, I have a long way to go before I can compare myself to Uriah for example, or the greats, like Wes Montgomery.
Be encourage to keep’ on keeping on, and don't forget it is all about lifting Jesus up, that mankind may be saved and born again.
