What's going on everybody? I just bought these Moongels from a company called RTOM. They are like tape to muffle the sound in yo drum and keep it from ringing but they're better. I use them at the crib in the studio and at church. They look like a Blue gel :idea: Try em out if u use em what do u think?

they certainly arent new... i use at church... great in muffling. i love em and they look lots better than duct tape or tissue

Moongel, Been around for quite some time. I have been using them for about 3-4 years now. and they cost me about $3 for a round container of 4.

they are cool on clear heads but they make a blue spot on coated heads....

Also try Pro-Mark's "Drum Gum". It's stickier than Moongel so that you can put it on the bottom of a tom if you want and it won't fall off.

They actually might be that much. I get a good discount on most of my gear...and what min_amw said is true. The DRUM GUM is pretty good.

I've actually had my moongel on the bottom of my third tom for about 4-5 months and it hasn't fell off yet.
