I got this clip from a druma and thot it was pretty nice. It wasn't anything fancy juss some simply playing but someone you myte not know plays drums...@ least I didn't know until I saw this..
and Oh, feelin' the new LGM look...almost got lost for like a split sec.

I had no idea Chaka could get down like that. That was a pretty deep groove.

On an unrelated note, somebody needs to bring back the rhodes piano. What a great sound.

Do you mean the actual piano or the sound? Mostly all the professional keyboards have tons of rhodes patches or e.p.'s similar to the rhodes.

Dude... Chaka playin the drums!?!?! Are you serious? This is the best clip I've ever seen on the site because of who it is and the unlikely nature of it. NO ONE expected to see her get down on it like that.

That post has been floating around for a while now.IT was posted a few weeks back on Hod.
Chaka's playing is hot man.In my opinion,she grooves better than Stevie himself.She may not be as flexible as him but she nails the time so hard...I love it.
She's been my favourite singer for ages and that clip was just the icing on the cake.She's the mother of all nowaday's divas and she'll forever be the best.

That clip goes to show that basically "there's nothing new under the sun." I mean that in a positive way. It means study your history and recognize the great ones of the past. The folks that came before us were funky and could groove! That’s Chaka Khan!
