Do you mean "You Are Good"?  Lyrics go something like...."Lord you are good and your mercy endureth forever"?

If so, it's in the key of E and the main part tabbed out looks sorta like.....

(assuming a 5 string bass)
G------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A---7-7-7-7-----------5-5-5-5----------7-7-7-7----------5-5-5-5--------------------------------3-3-3-3-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5------------
E--------------7-7-7-7----------5-5-5-5----------7-7-7-7----------5-5-5-5-4-4-4-4-7-7-7-7--------------------------------------------
B------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The change before "You are good, all the time, and all the time, you are good" goes like this......

G-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E----------333-5----------------------------------------------333-5-----------------------------
B-----555---------------------555-333-2-------------555----------------555-333-2-------

The closer I stick the numbers together, the closer the notes are played.

Hope that helps,

Peace,

James

There's also a lot of stuff going on in the intro that's pretty cool.  Right now I'm at work and my "air bass" doesn't work well above the 12th fret  ;D ;D So I'll need to tab that for you after I get home.  When the vocals first come in, Terrance Palmer is just doing some basic stuff with E being played in three octaves with some slides and/or harmonics thrown in.

0 = open string  #S# = slide from this fret to that fret

Lord you are good and your mercy  endureth fore----verrrrrrrrrrr
G----------------------------------------------------------------------------9-----------9-------------------------
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------------------------5-S-7-----5-s-7--------------------------
E----0-0-------------------------------0-0-----------------------0---------0-----------------------------------

Hope that helps,

Peace,

James

malthumb... looking at the tab... you start on the higher frets... is there a reason?

Comfort? Playability?

Yes and yes.

At the part in the song where the choir starts to sing "We worship you.  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah..." the pattern goes from E to B, then D to A (basically a 1 - 5 pattern).  The first "E" can be played as the 2nd fret on the D string or the 7th fret on the A string, which is the way I tend to play it.  The distance between frets is slightly less at the 7th fret than it is at the 2nd, so that kinda gets to the "comfort" part.  It's an easier stretch for the fingers.  This is one reason I recommend 5 string basses for people with small hands, like myself.

Since I tend to play 5 and 6 string basses, playing off the 7th fret of the A string leaves me a low octave option for the E at the 5th fret of the B and a low octave option for the D on the 3rd fret of the B string.   That gives me more flexibility to flavor the tune a bit if I want to.

Peace,

James
