Don't laugh  ??? What is the progression for the turnarounds in most fast gospels songs I can't get it to sound right mostly in Ab and Eb...I hope some body know what I talking about turnaround like in the song (Lead & Choir) By and By when I reach that home beyond the sky wicked will cease from troubling, the weary will be at rest, everyday will be like sunday by and by then that turnaround :'(
Thanks LaQuanda

The theory name for that turnaround is 3-4-#4-5 progression.  Here is an explanation:

3 / 1 chord (1 chord w/3rd in the bass)
4 / 4 chord
#4 / #4 diminshed chord (# in this case means raised 4)
5 / 1 chord (1 chord w/5th in the bas)
5 / V7 chord

Here it is in Eb:

G / G-Bb-Eb (3)
Ab / Ab-C-Eb (4)
A / Gb-A-C-Eb (#4)
Bb / G-Bb-Eb (5)
Bb / Ab-Bb-D-Gb (5)

Here it is in Ab:

C / C-Eb-Ab (3)
Db / Db-F-Ab (4)
D / B-D-F-Ab (#4)
Eb / C-Eb-Ab (5)
Eb / Db-Eb-G-Cb (5)

Is that clear enough for ya Chynadolle?
