LEARNING MORE SCALES
« on: March 24, 2006, 11:24:20 PM »
Praise the Lord Everybody,

I am a piano player trying to get to another level in my playing. I am currently in the process of learning new scales where I can add to my repitoire (fills for solos). Does anyone know any good websites that has good information on learning scales other than majors and minors, I appreciate any help I can get.

God Bless,

Nate

Go out to your music thore and purchase Hanon complete:  The virtuoso pianist in 60 exercises.    Its got all your scales and fingering, and the exercises are realy good if you want o develop your chops.

Actually, I think that the key is to be able to "apply" the scales you already know, than trying to learn new ones.
