Yo Tim (ooopps I mean RAWBIZNES) what up man this is Stefon (A.K.A "Spider") from Sacramento, CA. Yo dawg it's a pleasure watching you and my boy Thomas Pridgen growing up and gettin yo blaze on. I hate the fact that current drummers whether young or old aren't giving you two plus Ayron Lewis, Titus Robertson and Morris Mingos, Dewayn Swann yall's props. DAWG you doin the thang man. The greatest bass player out there. Sherray is tight and so is Terrance Palmer and so is Tony Russel. But I have personally watched you grow man. You guys are humble and don't change. yo the Keisha Cole video was hot my boyee Steve Wierman is nasty on the guitar. Anyways holla at me man and K.I.T. Congrats on the Makin a Band 3 gig.

i read a couple comments...i thought they was dumb funny!!!

i had fun doin the drum shed thing
i wished that most dudes even some of the cats that watched it..understand how i felt
personally....i  didnt want to go in there on some battle thing!!! because im older than that, i dont feel the need to prove myself to anyone....i played how and what i felt
i wanted to play with the guys in the room not compete or battle....tony eric and now joey are all friends of minds..in the past ive ripped hella dudes, so that wasnt any of my interest.... im 22 now i used to battle bck in the 90's at GMWA when i was 15-16... That video was supposed to represent us as black drummers who all came from church...so y bring that energy!!!

i was trying to have fun.....so i hope you have fun with me when you watch it!!

ima go crazy on my own dvd.....that sheds dvd iz just the beginning

TNT...Sounds like the next video should be old school verses new school.

Yo...i'm 30...would that make me old school or new school.  I don't know who to cheer for.

I really like that JHaynes though.  TP, EM are seriously GChops gone wild!  Yall are pioneering how gospel musicians are market which you can't do nothing but respect that.  I'll see you all on the west coast soon.

TNT...Maybe I missed something...your son?  It's not Spider is it?  I'm tripping...got to see all you cats live and in person.  I've been e-mailing Gerald and MP about coming down to the Bay area.  I'm just going to have to set a date.  I gotta see how yall do it.  Too many musicians in that area not to check it out myself.  Oh yeah...you and Jeremy are in the same era then I won't worry about feeling too old  :D  I'm serious about coming that way though...stay tuned.

its weird to me
cause people always ask me"ay bro when u come to town lets shed"

for wh0m ever dosnt know
shedding is playing with someone and you BOTH learnin from each other....if i cant learn from you or you cant learn from
me whats the point to "steal licks" ....if you cant steal em off gc tapes or albums you definitly aint goin to able to cop what im doin in person

im into playing together musically on some cool type stuff like mint or like grateful dead
im not really into showing you my licks or teaching anyone my stuff....so when talking about shedding be careful how you say that word
cause most musician dont even understand the true meaning

shedding  comes from the word woodshedding  (stick slivers on the floor from practice)  hooking up with people to shed is only to share ideas and concepts for fun and work on your personal style with someone doing the same  ( i jokingly say steal licks)  i like to understand someones approach to develop new ideas  with my own flavor. I dont won't no ones  personality . Thats all everyone does be it with a cd, dvd or what ever  . You can tell when someone doesnt explore cause their growth stops and they can't seem to move to the next level , be it level 1 to 2    or 9 to 10  you get stuck  you can't learn without hearing .                                                                                                                              Some cop vinnie, some ricky lawson

Having tried to explain the real meaning of woodshedding to folk here before I hope that the the name recognition of Thomas and TNT will serve as a wake up call. tHanks guys for attempting to add some clarity to the murkiness.
