« on: March 18, 2004, 10:54:21 AM »
Can someone please tell me how the black keys on the left of the organ correspond with the drawbars. Im still trying to figure the whole organ concept out. Thanks again.

THOSE KEYS ON THE LEFT OF THE ORGAN ARE PRESETS, LIKE THE BUTTONS / TABS ON KEYBOARDS, THE LAST Db AND C ON THE FAR LEFT OF EACH ONE, UPPER AND LOWER, CANCEL THE PRESETS, THE Bb AND C ON THE RIGHT CONTROL THE ACTUAL DRAWBARS YOU CAN ADJUST.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Thank you. How do I know which drawbars control the top or bottom row of keys Hammondman?

the Bb and B natural presets control the drawbars. The 2 on the top manual control the 1st 2 set of drawbars on the left side of the organ and the 2 on the bottom manual control the next 2 set of drawbars on the right side of organ...the 2 drawbars located in the middle of the 4 set of drawbars control the bass pedals....hope this helps  :D

Thank you very much 8) . It was a great help because now I'll know and be able to tell someone. Thanks. Transitioning from being a keyboardist to an organist is very hard for me, but with god's help I know I will make it.  :D
