Sheet Music
« on: March 15, 2006, 09:39:05 PM »
Hey everyone. My brother and I want to do an instrumental soli with my clarinet and his baritone for a competiton. Because it is a competion we don't want to make anything up; we want to get sheet music to memorize. I was wondering does anyone know where I can get Gospel/Sacred/Christian sheet music from for just those two instruments. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanxs

Wow!  I haven't seen any music for that combination of instruments.  You probably would have to transpose an arrangement for those two instruments.

I am looking for sheet music for alto sax with or without accompaniment of popular gospel tunes or hymns. The music store here (RAL) didn't have what I was looking for. I am pentecostal holiness..atleast something A.M.E. or something. what I found was more presbyterian.

Thanks,

K

Yeah, check like a e.i. gospel music store where you purchase cds, etc... I found a couple of books there.

Hey, Angelica53!

Sounds like a challenge to me ;D  I agree with Saxman, You may find some gospel sheet music that you might have to transpose for both instruments.  Keep us updated on what you find.

Be Blessed!

http://www.jwpepper.com/Brass_Solo_Ensemble_Brass_Duets.list

Use this link.  In the keyword search box, type in: Trumpet baritone

This will give you a "C" part and a "Bb" part duet.

That is the best you will probably find.

Good luck!
