Me Playing This Past Weekend
« on: April 03, 2006, 11:04:14 PM »
This has been a busy weekend for this sistah.  It's been busy, but fun.  Our praise team & musicians had the opportunity to minister at a revival on Saturday evening.  Sunday, we fellowshipped with Rehoboth COGIC Jesus Apostolic....oh what a time we had.  Both Rehoboth's & my church's praise team & musicians joined 'forces' in both morning and evening worship.  Here are some sample clips of the music:

http://media.learngospelmusic.com/displayimage.php?album=20&pos=4 (I messed up near the end, but kept right on going  ;D )

http://media.learngospelmusic.com/displayimage.php?album=20&pos=0 (morning service):  I dunno who the sister is on the drums, but she was definitely holding her own.  For the most part here, I was following the organ, then went off on my own thing a little

Praise Jesus and thanks guys ... the first and last tracks are more of how we play @ my church and the second track we followed Rehoboth.  I really had a great time playing with their keyboard, organ & drummer.  At the revival on Saturday (a different ministry) there were other musicians too (mostly Africans).  It was great playing with them as well.  Their style was more at home for me  ;D ... it was a mix of reggae and african.  Oh ... here's a clip of the steel drum players at the revival ... I was on digital camera recording, but my brother Paul (lead guitarist) picked up my bass and two of the African brothers got on the congos & lead guitar.  Check it out:

Lastly, I decided to post a video clip from the Revival on Sat.:  http://www.fmdminc.org/media/video/fmdmpraise040106.wmv (my pastor jumped on the congos here (black & grey shirt)
