ANOTHER QUESTION????
« on: March 27, 2006, 06:37:48 AM »
I KNOW PRATICE MAKES PERFECT. BUT THE WAY I WORK I'M NOT ALLOWED AS MUCH TIME AS I USE TO HAVE :'( BUT I STILL PRATICE. MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO FEEL LIKE YOU CAN PLAY? SOME PEOPLE SAY I SOUND ALRIGHT FOR A BEGINNER BUT I DON'T FEEL THE SAME WAY. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A NOVICE TO BECOME A INTERMEDIATE ??? ??? ???

Best thing you might could do is record a sample of yourself playing and put it up for the world to hear  ;D

Seriously, if you're open to receiving constructive criticism then I and others would probably lend you some to help point you in the right direction (if that's what you're needing).

As far as how long it takes to to progress...everyone is different so it's hard to tell but I think it's realistic to say that if you keep at practicing, playing and learning new things then every couple years you should be able to play beyond where you are now.

That said, I'm at a plateau right now...have been for a couple years...time to learn something new.  ;)

I APPRECIATE THAT I'LL WORK ON RECORDING SOMETHING AND TRY TO POST IT
