This is very sad news to hear. Thank God I just so happen to be listening to Myron Butler's song Everything. I'll most definitely keep the families in prayer.

My eyes are REALLY welling up with tears at this point. I really am in disbelief!! This hits WAAAAYYY too close to home for us. The one place other than my own home where I have always felt safe is at church, no matter what time of night! I didn't know these young men either, but I feel like I've lost a really good friend and brother, 'cause he was a fellow church musician!

Man, let's pray for the families and the church and all of Chicago, but more importantly, let's make sure we aren't playing for nothing and that we are in right relationship with Christ! And let's love and support one another and stop all the drama and unnecessary divisions among us. Let's also pray for our young black men EVERYWHERE. It tears me up to see that Satan has infiltrated our communities and our young brothas have no regard for themselves or each other!!

I'm really burdened right now. Pray, y'all!! Let's plead the BLOOD OF JESUS over our community.

God now in the name of Jesus, we pray for the families. God we pray that you would comfort and strengthen them. Father I pray that they would have A Job like heart because in the 1st chapter and the 22nd verse the word says that in all his trials Job sinned not nor did he charge God foolishly. We pray that the only retaliation God would be of justice and the binding together of the saints in prayer. I pray for healing for the drummer God. Total restoration we claim right now in the name of Jesus. Father we even pray for the shooter God have your way in him or her. Cause that person to do what is right oh God. And I pray that even through this God you would Awaken us and even bring about salvation. Have your way God and we are standing on Romans 8:28 all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to his purpose. In the name of Jesus we pray Amen.

I stay in Chicago, and for me to hear what happened was unexpected. On the news they say they were unloading drums when some idiot pulled up and fired shots. I don't know what's going on but the enemy is targeting our youth in Chicago that ain't cool. Pray for the victims of Wednseday's shooting.
