How can you respect these people

Every year around this time there is a big conference where i live at where all the churches in a community get together for the whole week. im from brooklyn ny. i hate playing at these different churches because of the people. for example the head deacon i stay seeing him wiith his car full of corona he be hanging out on the corner with the drunks. and then the other day one of the pastors stepped outside during praise and worship to smoke whatever that was he had lol this is crazy

How can we respect ourselves? If we are repulsed by others understand first that without the Lord we ourselves are repulsive.

I agree with Hammer on this one.  If it wasn't for the Lord were would we be.  I understand your concern about persons in leadership doing these things that are to you unseemingly but remember we are all human.  We unfortunately all (if we are honest with ourselves are imperfect) and some areas to grow in.

I suggest to you my brother that when we see situations like these that we continue to pray for all, saved & unsaved.

WHAT! You know what actually nothing surprises me anymore. There is so much going on in the church that it is unbelievable. If it was me, I would be a part of it.
