Good schools in USAfor sax players
« on: April 22, 2006, 07:28:09 AM »
Hi I live in Sweden and I think I wanna play funk, soul, gospel and slick music on my sax.
So I wonder if you have any suggestion on good schools, I'm 20 years old and here in  Sweden we mostly have jazz schools.

Give me some advice and if you have the web address to the schools, it would be great :)

I have been thinking about checking out UNT... heard it's a real good music school, highly competitive. Just want to make sure that's what God wants for me before I make up my mind. If so, I'm going to be going at the sax hard for the next year so I can get on a level where I think I could make it and hopefully receive a scholarship. Might even consider Berklee...
