What men really need from their wives...

Yesterday, I was listening to a Pastor on TV and he said men need three things from there wives: (3 F's)

1.  Food
2.  Friend
3.  And I quote "Freak the day lights out of him".

Wow! I will certainly be watching this thread. My husband and I are conducting a marriage seminar this coming Friday at a local church, "Sizzle & Spice in Marriage". I certainly want to see what ya'll got to say and compare it to what we have in our workbooks...and have already researched.

#1 is true depending on if you went into the marriage knowing that she was going to be the "supplier of food"
#2 is true
#3............depends on what he is talkin' about 'cause you can take that statement more than 1 way (Lawd Have Mercy)

I think a friend would constitute "support".

And as for #3----I read that as, the man wants a FREAK---and ain't nothing wrong with that, as long as you are not introducing a third party.....the Bible says that"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled"....so what you do in your bedroom is between you, your spouse & God.

Support comes from #2. #1 is bogus, I can cook for myself. And, #3 is a no-brainer. But, that #2 is the key, the friend, supporter, cheerleader, watchtower, etc. All that is incorporated, to me, in #2.

But if the woman wants their man to take out the trash, cut the grass, and do all the things "a man is supposed to do" (statisticly)what is the differance than a man wanting the woman to supplie the food??

Honestly, I'd rather my wife stay home, if she couldn't put, at least, some of her heart into it. Don't lie to me. Support me, because you at least understand how much I like it, not just because you think its what I want to hear or see.
