just play one fret at atime consecutively.. (chromatic scale)
learn a few penatonic scale patterns..
and one or two blues scales and your done thats all gospel is about..  ;D

Come on Dtuned there is more to it than this. My advice to this person is to keep in touch on this forum, keep asking questions, and go to a music store or guitar store and buy some material.  Find something that works for you.

i dont know how informative it would be for you, depends on level.
