What DVD can I purchase
« on: June 16, 2006, 03:43:26 PM »
What DVD can I purchase to start learning how to play the piano?  I don't read music but I want to learn how to play the piano by ear.  Also, what is the best practice technique to incorporate while trying to learn how to play the piano?  I watch other people play the piano and I always wonder how do they know to use this bass chord with the melody line.  I just don't see how a diminished chord is incorporated in a song, and I don't see how an individual knows when to incorporte a diminished, augmented, or suspended chord into a song.  What do I need to do in order to know the techniques like everyone else.  I don't want to be handicapped by asking you all for chords whenever I want to learn a new song.  I want to be able to listen to the cd and play from the cd.
