I really dont break sticks anymore either. I think it has alot to do with technique though rather than stick brand. My technique isn't the best out there, but Im comfortable and every stroke gives a great tone so why should I change it :) :) I noticed that alot of people on here play very close, but I prefer to play loose and high (For all kind of music). For me when I play like that I don't have to force the stick to give me a nice sound with great volume. When I bring my sticks up I swing my arms in rhythm so it gives me a good feel of the groove, and when I drop them I don't have to drive the stick into drum, it is very controlled. Alot of people don't prefer to play that way, but man it serves me greatly, and I can't remember the last time I broke a stick. I have changed my style to that for about a year and a half now. I will get a Video clip on here one day!!!

I play high also.

yea i did....i started to play high a little while ago too....i've only broken a pair of sticks once in church and that's because they were already broken....just waiting to be split in half, i broke them whil practicing.....I always brake sticks while practicing with my group though.....like all the time....but when i practice alone i don't....I play with a lot more techniqu and dynamics when practicing and chruch playing but when playin wit the hommies a like to get wild and wide open..lol...
