just picked up a sax and started playin

hey everyone. I just picked up an alto sax about a week ago and already i can play several songs. I was just wondering if any of yall could hook me up with some nice riffs in the key of G on a Bb alto sax. I also play the trumpet and can yall hook me up with some riffs in C for the trumpet?

Not sure if you meant to say Eb flat, but alto aren't Bb instruments. So, whatever concert hey you are in, you will need to transpose 3 halfsteps down.

Some sax players do not have to learn riffs like words to fill their vocabulary. Take a scale and play a melodically pleasing phrase that matches the song. If we show you some riffs they may not work for the song you play.

Make up your own.
