Job Description of M. O. M
« on: May 17, 2006, 03:21:18 PM »
Can someone please give me a job description of what a minister of music is exactly suppose to do?  I hear a lot of people throw the title around but the only thing that is required of them is to show up and play on Sunday.  Most of them don't even travel with the pastor but they are getting paid over and beyond.  It makes me sick sometimes to see those who are just in it for the money.  I am just curious as to what we should be doing to have an effective, anointed, music ministry.  I feel that we should operate in the spirit of excellence in every area that pertains to the kingdom of God and it is heartbreaking to see m. o. m. doing it for their gain and with their own agendas.
