guitar effects pedals= compatability?
« on: May 21, 2006, 07:19:37 PM »
Hi, I posted something similar to this before, but now Ive gotten even more confused.

Ok, So I have a roland xp-80 workstation, and I want to have a pedal to add real time effects to what I'm playing. What is a good, compatible pedal? Are guitar effects pedals compitable with my keyboard, because pretty much the only effects pedals I can find are guitar effects pedals.

Thanks a lot./

That's because pretty much all they make are dedicated guitar effects . . . and they will work with keyboards, although most of them (like distortion) probably wont sound all that good.

Most keyboards have effects built in as well.
