ON MY FANTOM (ORIGINAL) I USE THE PIANO PATCH "PIANO 3W" AND I MIX IT WITH MY MKS-30 "PIANO 3" PATCH. THE MIXTURE OF THE TWO GIVES IT A "TRUER" PIANO SOUND TO ME.

OR IF I WANT A RHODES FEEL, I'LL MIX A "STUDIO OR US RHODES" WITH THE SAME "MKS-30 PIANO 3 PATCH".

On my Technics digital piano (don't hate!...haha), I use "grand piano" almost exclusively.  I'm interested in my digital piano for its ability to emulate an acoustic piano first and foremost.  The grand piano sound is most true to an acoustic.  When I go to play acoustics, I don't feel much of a difference.  That's exactly what I want.

ON my Motif6 I use the Acoustic Piano patch all the time, it sounds really good with strong and meaty bass notes.

On my practice keyboard, Alesis Quadrasynth Plus76, I use either Best of Both (I think it mixes grand and an upright, but its a real full sound) or Dark Classical Piano (also very full-sounding)

I hate thin piano sounds

On the motif-es i use the main piano. On the triton eX i use the BDgrand. At home i use a roland xv-2020, hooked up to a kurz sp88x, with the piano expansion card. :)

Right now I have a 76-key Casio WK-1630.  THe patch I use mostly is Grand Piano (001) at a volume of 127 layered with Warm Pad (089) at a volume of 50.  Those two mixed together gives that majestic sound like your floating in the air.
