Moses Tyson drawbar setting
« on: June 05, 2006, 11:55:58 AM »
Here's one of my favorite for playing a devotional type thing.

Upper Manual:  08800067  Vib On Leslie Fast
Lower Manual:   00860000  Vib On or off
Pedal: 80

Play runs with RH on Upper manual, single notes mainly.  This has a real nasty "bite" to it.
It's because of the 5 1/3' drawbar is used without the 16' drawbar.  The 5 1/3' harmonic is naturally in the 16' series but not in the 8' series, which gives it a real fifthy sound.

SS-I assume you're using Bb setting on both tiers. Correct?

Do you use a separate drawbars for B key or top or bottom tiers?

I use:

Top Tier Bb setting 888800000 (for quick bass runs)
Top Tier B setting  888500000 Perc on fast Reverb (strictly for soloing)
Bottom Tier Bb setting  80800003 (soft hollow sound)
Bottom Tier B setting   808088008 (Bright Baptist Sound)
All That I Am, I Owe to the LORD.
