It's like your the general manager of your own team.  You draft real NFL players, decide who to start and who to bench for any given week.  Points are determined by your players' stats during their real game that week.  For example, if Vince Young is your quarterback.  Say your league gives 6 points for a touchdown pass and a 1 for every 50 yards the quarterback throws for.  If Vince throws for 300 yards and 3 TD's against Houston then he earned you 24 points.  The team with the most points from their players wins.  I enjoy watching football regardless, but this gives me a reason to root for players I wouldn't usually root for or to watch teams that I wouldn't watch.  It tests your football knowledge, and is great for those who just love competition.

Do any of you have regular Sunday night service?  It would be nice to do a live draft online, but I know we're all over the country and schedules are hectic.  We may have to do an autodraft.  In that case you pre-rank your players and then the computer drafts according to your rankings.

I'm going to set up the league now.
