I'm not sure, yet. Can we only propose one trade at a time? If so, perhaps you need to offer me a trade, and we'll work it out that way.  ;)

I don't really have any recievers on that level as T.O. or S. Smith. I have some good one, but not great ones. But it works in my favor beacause dem greats one see double coverages and the good ones get to shine. I'll take a look at my rooster though and holla at you ;) 8)

I just vetoed two trades so that there was more time for the other teams to review them.   Something about an 0-5 team yelling "Fire Sale" and then trading off arguably his two best players.  Not saying that anybody is trying anything shady, but I just have to make sure.  One team was trading Chad Johnson for Willis McGahee and Clinton Portis for Isaac Bruce.  We unfortunately already have one dead team in the league.  I just don't want to have another one.  If nobody else sees a problem with the trades, let me know.

Well, it's understandable how you feel.  But, not only do I like to compete, but I like seeing competitiion.  I really would like to see some real match-ups take place at the top or in the middle.  Everyone here can probably agree that if I ACTUALLY win and because of my ONE win, I prevented someone in the middle to make a move that'll get them over the hump, it wouldn't look very good.  Plus, Pennington did it for me, when, as a QB, gave me negative points.

Now, Fire Sale probably was a bit too aggressive, but my intentions were to see some competition really develop in the middle or towards the top.

So, are we saying that we can go ahead with the trades that were vetoed?

I guess so,

Please resubmit the original submitted trade offers and I will approve those first.  Then we'll go from there.

There is a trade being contested as too lopsided.  Please either post here or send me an e-mail (favoritepsalm1@yahoo.com) if you feel the same:

Clinton Portis & Reggie Williams for Jason Witten and Isaac Bruce.

I will remain unbiased and not voice my opinion on this one.  Please respond quickly.

As one of the people involved in the trade, how does this affect the rest of the league. I could see if one team was dominating the league and was issuing or being issued this trade, but that isn't the case.

It was offered and accepted by the two individuals, that shouldn't be a problem.

And with me being the other party of the trade, please understand that the trade you saw was not the ORIGINAL trade you're questioning.  You're actually looking at a counter offer I made.  And, after all the 'lopsided' trades I did...
