What???  Yall are lucky.  I didn't get a set until I was like 14 and I'm only 18 now.  All I had was the churches set.  An old pearl with 100 % maple shells.  I had a 20 inch CB700 ride and two Zildjian Amir crashes.  Now i got my Tama Rockstar.  I'll be uploadin some pics soon as I get my last two cymbals.

Ummm...the initial question was how do you like my NEW SETUP.... not Drums and Cymbals, but the setup of them!

My answer is:

Whatever works for you. For me, if I was rocking with only one rack tom, I would prefer for it to be centered off the bass, so in your case, a little more to the right. that way, I feel a little "quicker" when going from my rack tom to floor tom. BUT, it is personal preference.

God Bless.

True, true my bad but the set up is alright.  i some times set up like this.  But if i have the tom that far left, I move my ride closer but if Ihave my ride there, I move my tom closer.  just personal preference.  But do whatever makes you comfortable

Geezee guys don't make my kit sound so pitiful! This is my practice kit, my pearl is at the church. It's in the videos of me playing that I posted. I try to switch things up a bit to make my playing a little different. I think it kind of forces me to be more creative because I have less to work with (I took some cymbals down and my 13" x 10" tom off). I don't know, Just trying something new.

it is a perfect practice kit. all the gear is playable but not high end so that you can practice and bash away without being afraid about having to replace a costly cymbal etc....

I didn't get a great kit until i was outta high school and had completed a year of college!!!  I did my first semi-pro community theatre gig and a tour with the Sunlites and B8's!!  I've only had my kit thats in the pictures for a year!!

Ahahahahaha! Classic bbd. Lol!

Yeah, ATBGO, I agree with ER. What ever works for you. I would also prefer the high tom a little more to the right to streamline movement but then thats just me.
