Letters to God- Movie
« on: August 17, 2010, 05:04:16 PM »
I just watched a really touching movie named “Letters to God.” It’s about a little boy and his battle with cancer. I don’t want to spoil anything, but if you’re a sucker for inspirational stories and strong willed people I suggest you check it out. I’m especially touched by this because I know a child who was diagnosed with leukemia. Her story was very similar. You can check out the trailer for the movie here http://www.letterstogodthemovie.com/

I can't be watching this! Saw something similar not too long ago and nearly bawled my eyes out. >:(
The car, job, house wife/husband are not the reward, God is.

Saw this tonight - thought it would be sappy but wasn't excessively so, actually pretty good. Definitely a three-hankie movie. Being based on a true story/charity makes it more credible.

THE BLIND SIDE remains one of my favorite Faith genre films.

(Actually I like Tyler Perry's approach to faith more than the "let's pray to accept Jesus" scenes in most Evangelical movies)

This was the feel-goodliest of all feel-good movies. The family was just too perfect. The husband was perfect, the wife was perfect (Sandra Bullock is still hot!), and the kids were perfect.

I wanted to be like that husband.
