In the sanctuary kurt Carr

In looking at http://www.earnestandroline.com/Music/Chords/sanctuary.html exactly how do I play the arrangement listed there?

I know all the chords listed but the way the arrange it looks different for example: How do I do this?
In other words I don't understand what to do with what appears before and after forward slash /.

Db,Db,Eb,Db/Ab-Db-Eb-Ab............We lift our hands in the
C/Bb-Eb-Ab........................sanc-tu-ar
Db/Ab-Db-Eb-Ab.................y

Play the notes before the slash with your left hand and the notes after the slash with your right hand. The coma means to play the note separately and a dash means to play the notes together as a chord. Hope this helps :)

Thanks, this is starting to make sense. It's terrible when you know what to do but don know how. UR helping me with the 'how'.
