But who was that plain 4 Keysha on the Yamaha set??

that was Teddy Campbell w/ Keisha Cole....something happend while he was playing, close to the end of the song, i think his foot pedal got jacked up...he was playing w/ one hand, trying to fix something down below...i also saw a tech run over to assist...he still did his thing though

Yeah the BET awards was pretty good last night. Rex and Nisan straight smashed it. Seeing them perform just fuels me to keep playing and be diligent in our God given craft.

I watched the replay of the Bet Awards and Prince's performance arrangement of the Chaka Khan tribute with Stevie Wonder, Yolanda Adams and Indie. Arie was the best peroformance I have seen in a while. And let it be known that they put on a clinic in musicianship. Prince's performance closing the show was hot as well. Beyonce's band is niiiiiice. Kim Thompson was holding it down.

That's exactly how I felted... All The bands were On Point. The musicianship was tight... Alot of people are kinda salty in the other room about the show, but you can't hate on the musicians. They did their job, and WELL.

Nisan was the saving thing for the band.. Ray Chu and the Kru. They need to get Ricky Minor to come back or send a new band. The made it through this one but the vibe was no where near Ricky Minors bands.

That train wreck on T.I. 's set was ridiculous!

Folk need to back up off of being "churchy/religious" and give Yolanda Adams props for singing Chaka Khan's song extremely well.

He might have been killin by himself but Rickey be killin with the band.  As a they are WAY tighter.  You can definitely tell the difference in the shows that they played and the ones that the Ray Chu Crew plays.  But yo, Prince with Chaka and Yolanda and India was HOOOOOTTTTTT!!!!!!!  They laid it down with pocket and chops.  Everybody should have been takin notes.

I havent been feeling Ray & 'nem since about 6 or 7 years ago on Showtime at the Apollo.  Some little kid was singing "I Believe I Can Fly" and they completely ruined his performance.  Would have thought "The Baddest Band in the Land" would be able to play a song in any key... :-\
