I was going through some of the collections of Gospel Music that I have and I have to tell you this album is one of them that I can rate near the top.  Even though its about 21 years old, it still is a dominant force.  Every song is good.  Some of them made me raise my hands in praise and some of them I had to shed a tear or two.  You have the likes of Lynette Hawkins-Stephens, Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, Lawerence Matthews (where is that boy...lol), and the late, great Thomas Whitfield.  I would strongly suggest any and everyone that are Gospel enthusiasts in some form or fashion to get this album or tape.  I don't if it is in CD form or not, but in whatever form it is, it is worth getting.

Be Blessed!

I totally agree with you, the album is still in rotation on my cd player. With Lawrence Matthews, Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, and Thomas Whitifield lending vocals, it's a must have. One thing I've learned very recently is the title song, "Give Us Peace" written by Richard Smallwood was orginally recorded back in the late 70's by Union Temple Young Adult Choir (where Smallwood used to play and direct for).
