Does anybody know this song and who recoreded it?  I think it maybe one of those songs that you just hear other choirs sing and your choir ends up learning and singing it.    (I already did a search on every lyric site I could think of)

There was also a  group called the Gospel Pearls back in the 60's, and this was one of the songs recorded the Lead was Bessie Griffin..... I did have the album.   Now I don't even think that particular version is still available!

It was an awesome arrangement for the day and age.

Hi, keptbyjesus!  Carlton Pearson also recorded this song on one of his Azusa CD's.  It's the recording that includes the story about "Mother Jessie" if you're familiar with that...  God bless.
