Thank You,

Everyone should understand that this is a touchy subject. I feel you have to view this like any other professional situation. You need to take the time to perfect your craft, hard work and the late nights bring a deep satisfaction that I know God intended for us to feel. Just as you should work in any field as Jesus would your playing abilty should be no different.
In every type of learning situation there is an underlying factor that produces the fuel to power our intellectual engines. WHICH SOULD BE GOD. He enables us to overcome the inertia of the status quo. He should compel us toward a ever distant finish line in our race to catch up , overtake and excel. That is somthing that can be charterized as heart, persistance. courage, drive or willpower which all comes for God. You can not buy it, and you can not develop it by just wanting it bad enough. Ultimately the job is to use what we play and produce better music. At this point we do not need to depend on the next gospel hit playing on the radio we will have the abilty to create our own praise being only dependant on our selfs even only as bass players. Giving the thanks and the glory back to God. At this point it is nolonger a money issue, but I can promise you He will bless you for your hard work with money.( MAKE SURE WHEN IT FINALLY HAPPENS THAT YOU TITH VERY IMPORATNT)

I do not mean to preach but I was in the same situation for years and I was so bitter that praise was not even in the mix anymore. I found that I had to look at myself and not anyone else.

peace
GOD BLESS
