Footwear for Drummers

...this is a spinoff from the "Dress" Thread.  I figuered I'd give you guys and gals ideas of comfortable footwear for the drumkit.  Maybe your church will allow it.  These sneakers also come in all black.

Pumas, just like Lang uses. I Liked the ones Jkay showed!!!!!! Those are nice!!!!!!!!!!!!! I play in my church dress shoes, never really thought about if my feet are comfortable or not. I might try some casual shoes.

God Bless.

I learned how to play in church. So I always played with dress shoes on. Actually, no tennis shoe I've ever worn is as light as a dress shoe. Also, dress shoes are not as bulky at the tip, so they don't get in my way at the toe.

You guys are crazy!!!!!! STACY ADAMS ALL THE WAY, BABYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see folk have forgotten the orginal drummers shoe that Dennis Chambers use to endorse back in the day in Modern Drummer magazine. They are a martials and bodybuilding workout shoe.... Otomix. Dennis use to rock the high tops with the top laces undone.

Or get like all the Freddie Gruber students and wear the black dance slippers like Weckl, Pert, Steve Smith.

I'd hate to get in a fight with you while wearing these. Better yet, I'd hate to be the person sitting next to you when you break out in a Holy Ghost dance in dem shoes. LOL
I'd have to bring the peroxide and some bandages to church for the shins.
My goal as a musician is to be better than myself.
