How many of you perform your own Hammond organ repair?
« on: July 26, 2006, 06:38:35 PM »
How much do you know about the guts of your instrument and how well can you perform surgery on it?  As you know, organ repair isn't getting any cheaper and being able to do the basic repair can save a lot of money for your church.  The first thing I learned how to do was solder the drawbars.  Now that I've got a B3 in my garage, I want to learn more.

I do my own soldering, oiling and changing tubes. I have read where there's is enough voltage back there to kill a fellow. Be careful.
